If I use Foobar2k's replaygain function to calculate and write replaygain tags in my Vorbis files some of them become corrupt and I have to reencode them. Has anyone else had this problem or is it just me? (using Fb2k 0.51)

What's the error message/issue?
Spadge
There is no error message. The player just won't play the file and nor will any other player.

When I apply replaygain it seems to work fine. It assigns values and everything. But when I try to play the file it won't (nor in any other player). If I look at the file in Windows Explorer it has no size.

YES! I also have been experiencing this problem (0.51a). All Ogg files are corrupt after adding replaygain tags and some files even are 0 bytes in size huh.gif

So I'm not the only one.... cool

I only realized it after I applied replaygain to about 10 albums....bummer!!

at least I only lost one album sad.gif

I was lucky to apply the gains to copies of the originals biggrin.gif Nothing lost so far, but still, it's a major problem. zZzZzZz!!!!

Affects all tag writing, problem is unknown, but does not occur with 0.52, now available from the download page.

All tag writing? So it also affects MP3 files? I hope I haven't messed up my files like... a minute ago blink.gif They still seem to be alright... rolleyes.gif
