Hey whats up, I was taking this Linux class using the bash shell. We used VI and touched apon basic scripting. I kind of gained some interest in learning it for windows. I searched the net but cant get a good idea where to start? I did the hello world thing easly but like a good guide you guys can recommend.

I figured most of the programmers here had to have had a good resource. I don't mind reading a book if you have a idea for a beginner like me smile.gif

Depending on what you want to try and do, windows help can be an effective and possibly counter-intuitive way to get the answers you need.

Looking up Batch file programming may get you the results you're looking for though.

I use www.ss64.com as reference when I'm writing batch files.

Do you want to use batch files or the Windows Scripting Host though?
