A Green Cable Tidy

I wanted a neat way to take up the surplus length of headphone wires when using my MP3 player on the move as somehow the dangling loop was always getting tangled somewhere or other.

My solution is to use kitchen scissors to cut the handle off a disposable plastic milk bottle to give me a springy 2" tube which I then slit down one of the moulding lines. The surplus cable length is then taken up by winding it along the length of the tidy.

With the addition of two-sided adhesive pads, a milk bottle handle cut into shorter lengths will also make 3 cable clips for managing cable runs in the house.
