Full Version: DVD to Audio Extraction Woes

Morning:

I have a problem that I would like to share with the masses in hopes that someone has encountered this and has a resolution...

I have a bunch of live music DVD's and I have been doing the following:

Extract wav files from DVD using Pazeera Audio Extractor
Join the files using Shuangs Audio Joiner
Check joined portions with Nero wave editor
Convert file to FLAC

This has worked well for many of the titles I have archived; unfortunately, sometimes when I check the joined portions with Nero wave editor the join is good but the volume on one side of the join is louder than the other and is audible during playback...

I would like to be able to somehow normalize the audio on the wave files before joining them so I can get rid of this volume spike...

Does anyone have a solution for this?

Thx

Have you checked the volume on the audio files extracted using Pazeera?
