I just bought this: http://www.revoxonline.ch/a720.html and this http://www.revoxonline.ch/a722.html for $150 and they DO sound very nice... hehe smile.gif Opinions? Just curious how I'm gonna be flamed...

I have an old ReVox CD player I bought in 1983. Typical Swiss quality: it is built like a precision tank. I am sure that it will wear out sometime. But I doubt I will be alive to see it. All discrete components. No stampings; all milled metal. Beautiful inside.

You stole those components for that price. Best of luck with them. tongue.gif

The SNR is not the best, and they look ugly like hell... but the sound... yummy smile.gif - no words as I won't push words like soundstage, depth, tight, or clarity around here... gotta get better interconnects now smile.gif

Ehm... unless actual ones are broken or malfunctioning, you will gain nothing (sonically) doing that.
