The latest version of Easy CD-DA Extractor 5.0.7 is out March 1st 2003, more info and download. (2 293kB, shareware)

Rip/Convert/Burn
# Input formats: MP3, WMA, Ogg Vorbis, WAV and Monkey's Audio
# Output Formats: MP3, Windows Media Audio 8 and 9, Ogg Vorbis, WAV, AIFF and Monkey's Audio
# Custom external commands made easy

Dunno if anyone else is interested. I bought the 19.95$ lifetime license couple of years ago, when there was no decent rippers available. Still the easiest to use, clutter-free and crash-proof. Nice!

I downloaded the earlier v5.0.4, and notice that it includes a series of files that begin with wma9xxxxxx.xxx starting with wma9.dll. However there's no mention of WMA v9 support within the program, only v8 Is this maybe something that is enabled with registration? I don't see any info on their website.

Thanx,

how secure ripping does CD--DA E
compared to EAC whne using nromalt CD's (not very scratches ifd scratched at all)

It's not very secure. Why to use shareware program when you can get much better software for free (EAC)?

Poikosoft's Easy CD-DA Extractor, is a good package and support several formats, but it mainly lacks better and/or secure ripping routines.
In my past tests, I had some ripping flaws and/or clicks at the begining of the tracks.
EAC still my choice - at a much lower cost - (1 postcard only!).
