Hello anyone out there who can help me.
I have graphic equalizer Pioneer gr 777
cd recorder sony w100
amp sheerwood RV 4080R
TAPE PIONEER W851B

What i want am haveing trouble with is conecting the cd recorder to amp and equaliser dont care about tape,Anyone out there got any hints as this is starting to anoy me now.

I'm not familiar with those particular components, but I will take a stab at it.

Ordinarily you would connect the CD recorder in place of a tape deck, i.e. tape out to CD recorder in, CD recorder out to tape in.

However, that is the same place that the graphic equalizer would like to go.

The solution, I think, is to connect the graphic equalizer between the tape out and the tape in, but put a splitter (a "Y" connector) on the tape out. One side of the Y goes to the graphic equalizer and the other to the CD recorder input.

The CD recorder out then goes to one of the regular inputs, such as aux.

The reason the tape deck ordinarily goes between the tape out and the tape in is so that you can monitor the quality of the recording with a 3-head deck. You do not need that functionality with a CD recorder.

BTW, don't try to record when the input you have chosen for the CD recorder out is selected as the signal source.
