I'm looking for a software that could automatically create album art from the tags.
I just need somthing very simple : get [artist name / album name / year] from the tags, put it on some template image, and output a jpg.
I've just spent a few hours on google and couldnt find that.
Anybody knows a software that would do that ?
Thanks

I have used it already, and i've downloaded every cover available.
I'm looking for a software that could CREATE a cover.
Basically i want to use that for albums that do not have official covers, such as bootlegs & personal compilations.

There's a fairly simple, semi-automatic, (if crude) workaround for this.
Open up the files in a Tag Editor that has a .csv export function. (Tag&Rename, for example)
Select only the tags you want to be included.
Export.
Open the resulting .csv file in Excel or similar spreadsheet app.
Tweak the rows and columns until you're left with just the fields and headers you want.
Save.
Using a mail-merge capable graphics package (like MS Publisher or Adobe Pagemaker), create a template with the right size dimensions you require (500x500px is a good base).
Using the mail merge functions, first open your data source (i.e, the newly saved .csv file), then simply place the fields where you want them to appear on the page.
Preview.
Tweak until satisfied.
Export or 'save as' any one of the image formats given.
OK, I know that's a real bare-bones explanation, but believe me, the theory is sound. I've done it for years.
And once you've got your templates and formatting set up the way you want, the whole process takes just seconds.
Good luck.

Mp3tag can export to cvs as well.
@ theaudiobookguy Thanks I'll have to give this a go sometime.
