I'm wondering if anyone has figured out how to add an Apple Soundcheck tag to an AAC file in Linux, preferably from the command line? I have the NeroAacTag utility and tried adding the ITUNNORM field, but GtkPod does not recognize this as a Soundcheck value?

Can anyone offer any suggestions? Will GTKPod write tags to AAC files, or only store them in a database?
