i uploaded a file "test.zip" at this page: here!
the zip contains 3 files:
- the original .wav
- an APS (lame 3.90.2.)
- an API (lame 3.90.2.)
whereas the differences between the 2 .mp3s are not too remarkable ... there is quite a difference between the .wav and the .mp3
- added "reverb" or space on the mp3
- separation between the snare hits not too well defined
- mp3 sounds way brighter
- snare sounds "toy-like" in mp3
if anybody is interested, see for yourself
