I want to purchase a car,
-Receiver (preferably with remote)
-Power amp
-CD stacker (Needs CD-RW support)
-Speaker system
Around US$300
Can anyone give me recommendations? , brands, models?
If you are looking to buy all that for $300 you won't get very good quality stuff no matter what brand you buy. $500 might do it...

Well that's what I have to spend I could however only purchase only 2 speakers & the other 2/sub, $150 down the road. Either way do you have any pointers for me?
Well I'm far from a car audio expert, but... Recently bought a Jensen cd-deck and am not really happy with the sound. In fact it sounds worse than the Acura stock deck it replaced (broken after 5 years...). I'd stay away from Jensen for sure.
As for speakers my friend has Infinitys in his car and they sound pretty good; a brand worth checking out.

I'd have to agree, there's no way you're going to be able to put together a good or even decent system for only $300.
If you're serious about putting together a system, I'd suggest saving your money for now and waiting until you have more to spend.
300 bucks for all that stuff? No way.
For instance, good speakers can already cost you 200 bucks. You should definitely opt for front speakers (in the door). Then it depends on your doors: Can you fit in a 6.5" speaker? That would be ideal. Do the speakers sit almost on the bottom of the door? Then you'd need a system with seperate tweeters that can be placed somewhere higher. Do they sit high? Then you can use a coax-system (mid-tone and tweeter in one speaker). You can buy a sub later; first invest in good front speakers. Consult a car audio store; they will look at your car and tell you what you need. You can also buy doorboards if nothing fits right.
A head unit with a remote (!) and CD changer (!!)...? 300 bucks are easily gone for that alone, and that would be cheap. Then you need a 4-channel amp. 2 channels for the front speakers, 2 channels lowpassed for the sub (maybe bridged). Later, you can also buy a seperate amp for the sub.
And don't forget the cables, that can add up to another 50+ bucks. 2 good cinch cables, power cable, fuse near the car battery, speaker wire... and good installation is also important. If you install it by yourself and the speakers begin to rattle with each bass hit, you'll only curse yourself...
