Hi all!

Just wondering, what 2D barcode do you recommend for the following purposes:

Document Tracking
My company emits lots of hardcopy information that every now and then gets scanned and redistributed. We want to track whodunit.

Document Archival Info
We also have lots of hardcopy documents that ultimately get archived off-site. We would like whoever archived something affix a sticker bearing his/her identitiy and date.

We would like a solution that's:
- Unencumbered by patent/licensing fees
- Widely supported
- Has generator PC apps (i.e., not only web generators)
- Has readers for smartphones and PCs
- Black & white, thus easily printable
- (optionally) printable by dot-matrix printers

Any suggestions?

You could use the simply code 128, oder try a QR Code Version which is, not only in japan, avaible for Iphone and Co.
Its nearly indestructible, widespread and a good choice.
