1) I'd like to see the ability to edit and change foobar's file associations from within the Preferences added. smile.gif Or is there some way (other then choosing during instalation) to change associations without having to use Windows' File Extension thingamjig?

2) When on song community websites (e.g. mp3.com, soundclick.com, iuma.com) and I click low-fi or hi-fi to stream someones song, most of the time, the playlist will try to load in foobar and not finish. The song wont appear in the playlist window. If I try to load it repeatedly I've seen it work once or twice. What's the deal? I don't want to have to copy the link and load it in winamp just to stream a song.

Right click the file, select open with, choose foobar, check "always"...

Not possible with the current API, as there is know way for the player to know what file extensions each plug-in supports.
SNYder
ok, well i don't know what an api is, sooo yeah. huh.gif if Winamp can do it, why can't Foobar?

Yeah good question.

For some reason my Foobar player disassociated all sorts of existing audio filextensions in Windows. That really caught me off the hooks! And now, the thing is that i cant recover those cute and quirky foobar icons for the audio extension files again. :-\

What can i do about it? sad.gif

Thannnks.

Is the fact that you miss a brain really reason enough to resurrect a 2 years old thread? Just a rhetorical question, no need to answer... wink.gif

Bleh.. I didnt even notice that what happened was the question suddenly popped into and i came accross this thread from some kinky Google results.

I dont care about the date of the posts.. all i care about is finding a good answer as to what is going to fit my needs. ;-)
