I'd like to find some examples of MDCT quantization noise. I just want to hear what it sounds like in its RAW form. Without perceptual masking, etc.

Are there some audio samples around that I could listen to? Or some simple application I can apply to my own samples.

I have matlab, but I'm not at all proficient in its use. (maybe it's time to start )
