I am posting this here in hopes of getting some help, as no one at the winamp.com forums has answered.

In short, Winamp seems to freeze when I add my music folder to the library. It has never done this before.

I have been using Winamp for several years. Recently I re-installed it (using the newest version as of Sept. 09), and am having an issue when adding media to the library. It seems to freeze when I try to add my music folder. It literally stays for hours like this. (See screen shot.)

My music folder is 160 GB. But Winamp never had a problem with it before and it was the same size. I completely uninstalled winamp, manually deleted the left over files, and reinstalled twice and it still does this.

Specs:
Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit
8GB RAM

Any ideas would be most appreciated! Thanks!
