been reading stuff from forum and pretty much always found the info required.
This time however can't find an answer anywhere.

At the moment as I have set up a HTPC in the lounge, it's used to watch movies and listen to music casually.
I have a separate mid-end system elsewhere.

I want high quality sound from the HTPC for movies and would like to do away with my Rotel RSP1068.
So that I can connect the HTPC direct to my Jungson power amp.

Question. I need a proper high end sound card with analogue outs so would appreciate recommendations.
I'm reasonably technical so can set up and install with a little help.

I bought an Asus HDAV1.3 deluxe, whilst this was an improvement from the onboard sound, it was very disappointing compared to the Rotel.

So what do I need to get to at least equal the Rotel processor in sound quality.
