Can anyone recommend a program that will create a audio image file from Flac files with a cue sheet. I have Nero but for the most part it gives "Unexpected Exception". If I make a Image with Nero using the individual Flac files there are gaps between the songs.

foobar2k..import flacs-->convert and set to 'Generate multi-track files..You'll get one single file with embedded CUE..

foobar, Burrrn, or possibly EAC.

If you don't use foobar or EAC already (why not?! wink.gif ) Burrrn my be the easiest way to get the job done.

Edit: Hmm... I may have missed the point. If you want an audio CD the above makes sense. If you want a single file I'd use CueTools or foobar.

I'll give foobar a try. What I want to do is be able to mount the audio CD as a virtual drive so I can rip MP3 using Exact Audio Copy. I've tried Burrrn but there is no option for making a Image file. Thanks again.

Why mount?..Just import the flac(s) in f2k and convert to mp3..

I've always used Exact Audio Copy to make MP3 files, don't wanna change. Just because rolleyes.gif I mount a virtual CD so EAC can utilize CDDB and I don't have to edit all the ID3 tags once the MP3 care created. What's the best way to make MP3 from Flac files using EAC? With or without cue sheets, and still produce gapless playback.

EAC does nothing with flac files other than create them. At the present time it has no ability to decode them.

I take it your flac files do not have tag information otherwise you can convert them to mp3 directly with many applications and still preserve this information. Provided your flacs do not contain extra silence because of a misconfiguration of EAC or some other problem, mp3s created from these flacs using Lame directly or a wide variety of interfaces that use Lame (eg. foobar, dbpoweramp) will contain gapless information in order to maintain gapless playback with a compatible player.
