Can anyone help me? I want to make some DivX video using FlashMPEG but this software use the inside windows audio codec. How can i install in win2k a codec as LAME? (the inside mp3 codec does not permit bitrate over 56kbps).
Thanks

Newer Versions of lame (>3.92) include an ACM codec, which allows using lame in software with support for ACM codecs (like FlaskMPEG). The ACM codec though does not include the tweaked alt-presets and allows only minimal tuning of the options used.
Another (better) solution would be to encode the audio seperately using the cli and your favourite alt-preset and mux it into the AVI afterwards using Nandub.

Thanks a lot!!!
I'm a beginner and I think that I don't need a lot of setting options for now, then I think I can use LAME whith AMC codec. How can I install them on win2k or on FlaskMPEG? Where can I download them?.
(...sorry for my english... I'm not sure to perfectly understend the answer...)
Thanks again

If you are not aware of it, head over to www.doom9.org
It has a wide selection of guides on various things and some translations as well.
Hope this helps,

At www.doom9.org you can find a program called Gordian Knot, it's much better that flashempg and you can encoded the audio track with lame --alt-presets if you want and then mux with the video later, you can find a guides for learn to use the Gordian Knot.-
