Full Version: EAC "Access Violation" crash when I click browse

Ok I've been a long time user of EAC but just upgraded to Win XP Pro x64

The program installed fine, and it's ready to go, but if I need to browse my computer for anything using EAC (say, to specify a rip directory), I get an instant "Access_Violation" message and a crash.

Particularly when I click My Computer or Desktop. I've tried scanning the forum for help and a few people have had similar problems, fixed with aspi replacement, but hadn't really worked for me (largely as I found it hard to find the aspi layer).

Any help GREATLY appreciated as I'm going to end up ripping with itunes soon!

That's a known problem of EAC when used on x64 Windows editions. Workaround would be not to click anywhere in the browse dialog, but entering the path manually. Then just click 'open'.
