A few days ago, Iīve noticed that FLAC files can be lossy. It was such a deception to me because I was a FLAC enthusiast by itīs concept, but if FLAC can be lossy, what the hell ? mad.gif
Well... after this personal outflow... letīs go to the actual questions...
The main question that I got is how can I know if the Flac is lossless or lossy Flac by itīs log file.

I was also trying to understand that lines in this 2 examples:

1.

Used output format : User Defined Encoder
Selected bitrate : 128 kBit/s
Quality : High

2.

Used output format : User Defined Encoder
Selected bitrate : 768 kBit/s
Quality : High

Well... Almost all flac files that I got are "user defined encoder" what that means ?

The first one is 128 kbps and is also "high quality" ?

If is by that bitrate that we can know if the flac is lossless, what is the bitrate that proves that the flac is lossless ?

You should know if they're lossless or lossy based on how you've ripped your CDs.
