Is there any more professional or detailed spectrum analyser plugin for foobar other than the native one ?

other then adding more colors, you can't change db range if that's what you meant by "more detail", but you can use some VST analyzer

[edit] I'm referring to Spectrogram, of course wink.gif

Well if your using column UI you could try the Peakmeter Spectrum.

No, I mean not that type of detail... IŽm a producer so I use VST analysers on my sequencer on the studio (roger nicholas digital or wavez PAZ on pro-tools), but sometimes when IŽm hearing music on foobar I want to take a look at the spectrum, know exactly where some instrument is hitting, if the bass is predominantly on 55hz or 100hz for example...
you talking about vst plugins in foobar ? is it possible ?

There are two DSP components which offer VST link. Only drawback is that unlike foobar built-in visualisations, using DSP introduces some latency to the signal presented by VST analyzer - it will show some time ahead (depending on foobar buffer size) of signal played

Does anyone knows any other than peakmeter spectrum ? I found it nice, but still needs some more tools. IŽll try the VST wrapper but if thereŽs another native addon it could be better.

160 bands isn't detailed enough?
