Hello. I'm currently ripping my CD collection in AAC using EAC in Secure Mode, and I think there are too many CDs that show up read and sync errors, there shouldn't be that much. These CDs have no visible scratches or smudges, they look perfect, some of them are even brand new, but still there are quite a lot of them (I'd say about one out of fifteen) that show up read or sync errors, or at least the ripping slows down a lot at some point. It often happens at the end of the CD, typically the last track will show up read/sync errors or will take a whole lot of time to rip (with the "error correction" bar getting red at the top repeatedly). I usually don't hear any clicks or pops in the ripped file.
I'm wondering if there couldn't be a problem somewhere else?

These CDs look perfect and the errors almost always occur at the end of the CD; it seems strange.
My CD drive is an ATAPI DH16A6S. I use the Secure Mode with the Accurate Stream feature enabled.
