I have a problem, today I noticed an flac album of mine taking up 2GB on my computer. I looked inside, and each flac file had increased from 30MB to 200MB each. When I tried to play a song, it would take forever to start and I couldn't seek through it. I deleted that album, then I noticed another album of mine that had 60MB flac songs, when they should be 30MB. I tried starting a song and I got a little lag at the start but eventually it played and I could seek through the song. Does anyone know what's going on here? Why are my flac files increasing in size and freezing up? I am using MediaMonkey v3.1.1.1261 as my media player. Would appreciate any help with this.

Your issue is weird.
Try an other media player then.

Files don't magically increase in size without you or a program doing something to them.

if you were viewing them through a media player, perhaps it was showing you the uncompressed size. when i look through my music folder to burn discs, it displays filesize in the uncompressed form if i am choosing to burn it as an audio disc instead of a data disc

Or your drive's filesystem is failing, so you should do one nice checkdisk. But be warned - if that is the case, there is a probability that all your files are messed up.
