In fact, if I have a beef with HA, it's that this forum tends to reject the controversial outright. Personally, I wonder how much has been lost by some moderators consistently censoring some particular issues they personally find unacceptable, or worse, provoking and then banning some particular former member they don't agree with?

Furthermore, personally I believe it's a shame this community isn't more democratic in its administration of bans and censorship. For what it's worth, I know I don't say as much or use this site as often for exactly these reasons.
