Dears,

Would you like to give me a tip: how to make a rating mark of selected song? And plays these tracks later in a single playslist?

thank you.

Robertina
First you need the Playback Statistics component.
Second the files in question have to be in your Media Library.

To create an autoplaylist containing rated songs only search your Media Library with:

%rating% PRESENT

Thank you!

Can i mark a track manually or set a rating directly?

For example: I'm going to make an own collection of "the best of .." from about 30000 tracks. If i do listen every track - i will die before :-)

There are several ways to do this. You can do it manually, by selecting all songs, go into properties, and create a rating field and give it a number 1 to 5.
Or you could rate based on other fields.

If for example, you want to rate the songs you listen to most, you could do a search for %play_count% PRESENT, and rate your most played the same way as described above, or based on a some formula. foobar can do math.

There are also some threads about autorating or hotness.

Dying is not necessarily rolleyes.gif , you do not need to listen to each track before you can rate it.

The simplest way is to mark the tracks you want to give a rating and to choose from the context menu Playback Statistics -> Rating.

The fastest way could be to bind a keyboard shortcut to the rating function (File, Preferences, General -> Keyboard Shortcuts).

Additionally you have the options mentioned by Mar2zz.
