I went to prefernce > media folder and it says it's monitored but it won't show. I am running the latest version of foobar2000 and nothing is tweaked. I am running window 7 x64.

If foobar shows in the status column "Monitoring" and there is no error in its console (main menu View -> Console) then I am sure that the watching of your Media Library works properly.

Please explain what you expect foobar to do ("it says it's monitored but it won't show").

The content of the Media Library is not added to a playlist automatically if you should mean this.

Thanks for the reply. How can i make it show in the playlist automatically?
On a side note, what is the purpose of media library?

In combination with the Playback Statistics plugin you can get some statistics (when were the files added, how often played etc.)

Furthermore it is possible to give the files a rating which is also only possible with files which are in your Media Library.

To show the whole content of your Media Library in one single playlist automatically:

- Main menu, Library -> Search
- Type in: ALL (case sensitive)
- Press the button [...] on the right
- Choose: Create Autoplaylist

Do a right click on the Autoplaylist's tab for further options.
