I have 2 questions.

1) Is it possible to have multiple profiles or configs for foobar(single installation) which can be switched with a single button click ?

2) Is it possible to edit the artist tag of multiple files in a single properties box or something similar rather than opening each file property separately? I tried selecting all files and editing the artist field with separators thinking each file would take artist name sequentially. Obviously didn't work and each file took all the artist names

1. No, but many UI components such as ColumnsUI support layout presets, as do parts such as the DSP manager. You can also keep different copies of your foobar configuration file and swap them out if you're so inclined.

2. Double click the artist field name or right click > Edit.

Right, that's a way out.
