If i'm currently playing a track in say, Playlist A, and then generate or view Playlist B, is there anyway that fb2k can recognize the same track being played in playlist B and also highlight it and what not to show that is it now playing?

(I'm running elplaylist, but have had this concern for sometime w/o it)

I've never tried that but i am sure it will work:

right click status bar and choose "highlight in playlist". That command is provided by foo_utils.

The "playing" attribute applies to a playlist entry, not a particular track.

If multiple entries were marked as playing, you would no longer know which playlist is active, or which track will be next.
