I'm not sure if I fully understand what everyone's talking about, but maybe I can get some help?

I'm trying Columns UI today for the first time. I had foobar set up very nicely using the default UI but I wanted a change. I installed the Album List plugin but I don't like the way it's displaying my albums, IE; it shows everything , all in alphabetical order. I don't want that, I want it sorting by directory structure. How do I achieve this? Please keep it simple, I don't understand "/%album% / boil an egg / 5001.6 / %I am a nerd%" and all that kinda stuff!

If it helps, here's some screens...

right click in album list panel, and select: view > by directory structure

BTW, why are you posting in this thread which is about chronflow?
also there is search box on top of the page, so use it before posting

I have to ask:
You are aware that your images are still of the default UI?
Dee!
Yes, I'm aware that's the default UI. I switched back briefly so I could make a screenshot and explain what I was on about.

As for being in a chronflow thread, yes, I know. I thought the stuff you were talking about was related info I was looking for. Told you I'm a n00b at this.

Big thanks for the instructions anyway. smile.gif

OK, explain then in a noobie way how to create that CD envelope for the album art? That was anyway my next planned customization within Foobar2000 :-)

As for Album List Panel for use within ColumnsUI, the answer wass provided by 2E7AH.
