Hi - looking around it seems that everyone hates winamp 3 - but what is the best older version to run? Opinons on this and related plug-ins are appreciated.

On my com (running XP) Winamp 2.9 BETA runs just like 2.81, very stable, plus all the extra options the Winamp developers have been talking about. On other OSs it may not be exactly as stable as 2.81 though. But for all Winamp users this should be the version to get now. With video playback and media library, you can ditch your WMP!
