Lego anounced here that he hosts a new Crossfeed-like Winamp plugin created by Hustbaer:

It's configurable - here's a crappy translation about how it works (besides extracting to winamp plugin folder and selecting as DSP plugin) from the link above - corrections are welcome:

Explanation

Crossfeed-power: In the range 0-0.5 it is "ordinary crossfeed" in the range 0.5-1 it is kind of inverse-hyper-stereo or something like that.
Main-signal-compensation: flatens the frequency response by damping the main signal's bass by the same amount it ist amplified by the applied crossfeed.
Decomb: Sets aditionally how much the comb filter effect produced by the crossfeed signal is reduced ...

Hustbaer, if you read this, congrats. Youve created the best sounding crossfade for winamp, imho.

Keep it up mate (although I dont use crossfade, i LOVE stereo)

In the direct download link above for Headphone plugin, the letter "ä" makes the link look dead here, probably some different language setting.
This one works here.

Strange. For me both link adresses (your and mine) are look exactly the same (rightclick -> copy link adress). Well thank you for the help, I wouldn't have noticed.

Right-click - properties on the links shows the same URL. But copy shortcut - paste gives:

So "ä" is replaced with "%e4". What makes the difference, my PC configuration, my provider?

Here it's still the same (with Opera 6 - Englisch and IE 5 - German). I'd guess it's something with computer language setup. Whatever, thanks to your help, everyone will be able to download it now, so as far as I'm concerned everything's allright now.

hey-ho!

looks like there are at least 2 threads on my little plugin going on here!
i might have posted in the wrong thread before...
however, it's late and i'll be off for weekend soon.

@jesseg: cheers for the cheers :-)

maybe next week i'll look for a good (and free) place to set up a little donwload-page,
with some basic info and stuff, but that will have to wait until monday at least.

hey everybody!

i have pieced together a small download-page for my plugin.
not much content yet, but it should help with all the "not-working-link" problems...

same is true for the plugin itself.

any comments appreciated, preferably via the forum here, so it's easier for me to keep track.
