Greetings,
for MPCs, Winamp supports a whole bunch of tags from APEv1 to OGG Vorbis everything you like. Unfortunately, this isn't true for MP3s AFAIK. And as Case's Tag doesn't support writing ID3v2 and I don't like prepended tags anyway, I'd like to have a Winamp plugin that read's Lyrics3 v2.0 or APE tags, but I have found nothing so far...
Can you help me.
PS: Yes, I know that foobar supports it!

afaik, there is no such plugin for winamp. but why in the world do you want to use winamp instead of fb2k?

I'll answer why he uses winamp...because he can hence the freedom of choice. If I want to use the mpc decoder and pipe to play in bash by god I will do it.

Well, I can't find any reason why to use fb2k instead of Winamp... I haven't had a problem in years with Winamp. Remember that everyone is saying that Winamp is a mess from a developer's point of view, not from the user end. Both applications are very nice, but until something goes wrong with Winamp 2.x, this is what I'll mostly use. It all depends what use you want from your audio application. I only use the default audio plugins and 2 DSPs (DirectX and PaceMaker plugins), nothing more nothing less

With Lyrics v1.22 you can only read/write the songtext frames of the lyrics tag, IMHO.
@RIV@NVX: Is this a decoder plugin?

Yeah he posted the mpg123 decoder, same one that foobar uses.
