I used MySQL-Front for a while but now the program hangs often when updating a field.
When updating the same field with phpMyAdmin the database had now problem with it.

I like the easy to use MySQL-Front but there are now updates for a while.
Any suggestion for a good MySQL maintenance program under Windows?

Is there any reason you need one specifically under Windows? phpMyAdmin is fantastic. You can go anywhere on any OS and as long as you have the right credentials maintain the database.

I also like phpMyAdmin to create or index a database.
But for editing data the Windows program's are easier to use.

navicat from MySQL Studio is very nice, but $88 huh.gif

someone suggested DbVisualizer the other day. looks alright, but haven't had the time to try it out yet.

Oh a program to edit and enter data in tables and not a matinance program eh? OpenOffice works great. Just be sure to get myodbc and set up a database connection. And it's all free.
