I have looked around on the interent and found people saying to use it either way, so I want to ask here. I have a drive that supports the accurate stream, drive caching, and C2 error correction. So in Secure mode using drive reatures, do I select C2 error correction and no cache or select them all.... I notice when cache is selected the drive can lock itself up on very clean and pefect CDs... Thanks guys

If your drive caches data, then u should check the box.
As far as C2 is concerned, try ripping with/without it and compare results.
If u r not sure about how efficient your drive is at detecting C2 errors,
u r better off leaving the box unchecked.

If your drive supports Accurate Stream use it (tick). In most cases C2 in EAC should not be used even if your drive supports it (No tick). To be sure if your drive caches audio you can also use Feurio, Program parameters/Device test/Cache test. If it does you tick the box in EAC.

If your drive has problems with audio caching in EAC you can try turning off DMA mode for the drive then checking in EAC & Feurio if it still caches audio data in PIO.

huh, funny, so what would no checking the caching with C2 on do? Thats what I have been doing, I noticed it seemed to no pause or lock up on slight errors as much

It would skip the error correction and write "copy OK" even if it's not.
