Hello,

When I want to run MP3Gain it sometimes starts some sort of installation for Office XP. That already happened 2 times and I had to put in my office XP CD and it was installing something. After that I could normally run mp3gain, but all the Office XP shortcuts had been restored from the start menu unsure.gif

This is probably because there was a Setup.exe file from Office XP in the C:\WINDOWS\TEMP folder that mp3Gain extracted it's setup files to.

I actually empty my temp folder quite frequently. I installed my office XP 6 month ago...so i can't be the problem with the temp folder since it happened already twice.

Not my fault! Really.
It's a bug in Windows Installer:
