I am just wondering what the warning message is that pops up really quickly in the encoder window when a track has finished encoding with 1.15r. I do not know if this messages appears in 1.14, but I do not recall seeing it before. Thanks for any help anyone can give.

WARNING:

There still occured X SCF clippings due to a restriction of StreamVersion 7.
Use the '--scale' method to avoid additional distortions. Note that this
file already has annoying distortions due to slovenly CD mastering.

It has to do with SV7 not 1.15r.

This is a warning about so-called "internal clipping". Read more about it here:
http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/index....t=ST&f=1&t=4071

This happens in both 1.14 and 1.15r when you don't use --xlevel, since both belong to the SV7 line. The occasional warnings with --xlevel are about remaining scalefactor clippings, but for all i know, these can be disregarded, for they will be "masked" by the usually horrific mastering of songs where they occur.

Thank you much for the quick responses. I am using the --xlevel switch so I guess all is well. Thanks again.
