I just would like to say 'thank you' to all Hydrogen Audio guru and all people who post on this board.

I bought a Jukebox Zen 3 monthes ago and started to encode all my CDs with ... no I can't tell this smile.gif ...

Then I found on this big world which is internet Hydrogen Audio and felt like if I went to school again. I've read many things here and re-ripp and re-encode my CDs collection with EAC and Lame (Dibrom version | preset extreme).

Sound is so good that I have a problem now : I listen to music all day long. The thing the funniest is that encoding is so good that I re-discovered my CDs and found some noises or cracks that are on the original smile.gif

Anyway, I'm the boss of my company so having delay with my work is not a real problem wink.gif

But, as I started this post, I just wanted to say 'thank you' to everybody here for teach me so many great things about good ripping, good encoding etc.

I continue to read very carefully all posts to learn more.

Bye to everyone.

Best regards.

PS : sorry for my awful English, I hope you were not too annoyed by it.

Been thanking the people in chat room who listened to me ask questions but figured I need to thank the people whose posts I read as well. As soon as I replace my CD-Burner (been a bit wonky lately) I'll be a ripping and encoding fool.

This forum has been the web page I have read most, lately.

Many thanks.

First, I would like to thank Dibrom for creating this wonderful portal. Then I would like to thank Andre for creating EAC and giving it away for free so that the whole world can enjoy music like never before. Last but not least, I would like the millions of people who have developed have developed codecs like LAME and MPC so that they could mature into something so wonderful today. I Thank you all profoundly !! smile.gif

WMA then? laugh.gif I started with Xing, back before WMA was even out, so no worries... Just so long as you learn from your mistakes and find the true tao of using MPC/lossless for archival and MP3 for portable. tongue.gif

Edit: Confused Blade and Xing somehow... blink.gif

Thanks to all developers/contributors from me also smile.gif
Maybe I would still be using CDcopy with the blade.dll @ 128k now if I hadn't found this board..
