All of my songs are in mp3 (128 or 192 Kbps) and I use ID3v1.1 (I use the track number).

WMA (M$ :x)
VQF ( dry.gif )
ID3V2 (complexe for just a file tag wacko.gif)
MP3PRO (not sure, but cutted in high frequencies? unsure.gif)

For the rest, I just know the name... (APE, FLAC...)
Oh I was forgetting Ogg Vorbis (odd name wink.gif)

So you, what format and tag you use ??
DjDSoft
Before I used mp3 (ID3v1 & ID3v2 for long titles). Now I use only Musepack (MPC). And foobar smile.gif

As of last night and a couple of nights ago, I've started to rip my cds into MPC and use the APE tags. As for player, i'm torn between foobar and winamp. I'm used to winamp and haven't fully explored foobar but foobar seems to sound a smidgin better for mpcs.

I currently use MPC with APEv2 tags.

I use mp3, mpc, & ape... i'm trying to rerip everything to ape...

i use apev2 tags on all of them... i think i have id3v1 on the mp3s & mpcs for the people who haven't moved to fb2k....

Player - FB2K
MP3s - no longer use them to encode, but when tagging, use ID3V1 & APE2, and replaygain in FB2K
MPC - APE2 only, replaygain with Speek's MPC Batch Encoder (I like the little text file output)
FLAC - whatever the default tag format is (Ogg?), replaygain in FB2K
Der Grieche
mpc with ape2 tags
kotrtim
mp3 - ID3v1 & ID3v2
