My Creative MP3 player is having trouble reading the ID3V2 tags from new rips with EAC, but if I edit the tag in Winamp, there is no problem.

My guess is that the ID3V2 tags written by EAC are somehow incompatible with Creative Playcenter 3.

Does anyone know of a tool that can batch read and re-write the ID3V2 tags, instead of me opening and saving each one with Winamp?

Try MP3/Tag Studio. It's free (actually contains static compiled ads that don't "phone home" and are hence safe), it's fast, it's perfect and it can do anything you ever wanted to do with ID3 tags. I've been using it for over two years now and have never even thought of using anything else. It's the best software you can ever get. I have written the tags of about 600 MP3s ripped with EAC using this software and there has never been any problem. Get it here.
