I am a Average Joe that wants state-of-the-art mp3's.
In my search i have come across r3mix.net
So i encoded my mp3's using the r3mix command.
And i like the results.
But browsing the r3mix.net forums i discovered their is a new and better command called --alt-preset.
Do you guys have any idea how hard it is to find info about this "--alt-preset" command?!
IT'S DARNRIGHT IMPOSSIBLE!
Through my google searches i have discovered that this message board system is where the top people in audio compression hangout(like the creators of LAME).
I have searched this board and now, among other things, know that their are diffrent versions of LAME
But finding information about "--alt-preset" is still impossible.
I have seen discussions about it.
But isn't there some page/site that,like r3mix.net, explains a little about it?
Like what it is and how to use it.
I'd love to use this new command, but i am not gonna take my Lame and just enter --alt-preset and check the results, especially since i understand their are diffrent versions or so(--alt-fast,--alt-extreme and so) .
I would love a link.
