What about adding to foobar2000 the possibility to ad to APEv2 tags field "lyrics" with lyrics of the song in it? Something like freedb tagging support, but not per album, but per song? Is that possible? I have a lot of songs, to which I would like to add such a field of the tags automatically... That would be really great!

I've had no trouble adding custom fields to my files. Right-Click->Show file info->Add new

Custom tags thing is good, but what about plugin for displaying such %lytics%, with some %lyrics_time% maybe? I think all knows how it is done in movie players like LightAlloy (subtitles, mapped by time).

Also i want automatic history additions in tag name's drop-down list, so if i wanna add %some_weird_tag% second time, %SOME_WEIRD_TAG% must be in drop-down list (kinda MRU list).

Well try out the betas. At least it works with them.
