i'm having a major brainfart here i think, but is there anything i can do to fix this? i've done a temp workaround by overwriting the in_vorbis that came with 2.90 with the old 2.81a version.

it's weird, but the two or so downloaded albums i have won't play in the new Winamp 2.90, whereas the 65 tracks i've ripped myself play perfectly fine. is something weird going on? or am i overlooking something stupid?

downloaded
2 x nickelback tracks -- plays ok [20020717]
sasha - airdrawndagger -- won't play [20020717]
snatch soundtrack -- won't play [20011217]

my encodes [20020717] all play ok

Check for ID3V2 tags. I think they changed the plugin to reject files with ID3V2 tags (as recommended by Xiph.org).
