Fellows,
Are tags required in order to create mpc's? Does anyone know how to get Batch Encoder and 1.14 to encode without a tag?
I want to use ape tags on mpc's but would like to figure out the tagging solution later. I read in the sticky that you could apply replay gain in large batches later on. Can I go ahead and encode a large library without adding tags of any kind and apply tags and replay gain later, after I've had time to learn the applications?
Thanks for the help.

Yes, you could skip those steps until later (I'm not sure how with that software, though--I use a batch file). Personally, though, I don't recommend it. It's easier to do that stuff as you go along. I would recommend setting up a tagging system and begin tagging and Replay Gaining from the get go.

I want to apologize to the forum for the dumb question. I've been looking all over the forum and the net and the tagging solution is right there in the first paragraph of the readme. It's just that I'm tired and I've been doing this (my library) too long, and I just overlooked it - about 5 times. If I had the power I would nuke several other dumb questions.

Yeah, that makes sense, and now that I see how easy the tagging is I'm going to take your advice, get some rest, and start fresh with the mpc's. Thanks for the help.
