when using $if(%_isplaying%,FFFFFF,C0C0C0) for example foobar highlights not the specific track that is playing at the moment (eg. the one with the playlist number #1) but every track with the same file path

looks like that then. imho it should only highlight the one that is really playing

It highlights all duplicates of the playing song in the playlist. that's the way it's gonna be.

Making that code $if(%_isplaying%,FFFFFF,C0C0C0) might be more efficient, dunno. You're still stuck with duplicates hilighting.

yes but to me it's wrong. when i'm playing song numer 001 it should only highlight that one and not 006 also. if it highlights 006 also it also has to cache this song any everything. you can't play two songs at the same time.

Obviously you can't play two songs at the same time, but multiple playlist entries are still the same song. The fact is, that song is playing, so all the instances reflect that.
