I have two problems with speek's front ends
There's a problem with tags on mp3 files. With all2lame or multifrontend, the id3 tags aren't written into the file (whereas it is ok with ogg or mpc files for exemple).
I didn't forget to check the box "write id3 tag". I think there's also a problem with monkey's audio and Flac tags.
Endly, I can't make a mp3 from a mpc with all2lame the cmd says "bad argument type"
whereas it works well with multifrontend. (it doesn't matter because I prefer using multifrontend instead of all2lame)
Did you notice these problems ?

Speek's frontend uses Case's Tag.exe for tagging. Did you also configure Tag.exe so it knows what information to write to the tags?

Yes I'v configured Tag.exe, indeed, the configuration works fine with ogg and mpc files.
What can be wrong ?!?

Have you tried asking Speek for help? I've written to him and found him to be very helpful; he even wrote a custom version of "Multi frontend v0.92 beta" for me. If there's a bug with his frontend, he'll fix it fast.
You can reach him at the address he has on his site:
