Browsing he plextor.be website, I came across a new CD-ROM drive Plextor is about to release. Looks interesting

Not much to look at, but considering how good my Plextor 40x has been, I will upgrade when the new CD-ROM comes out. I also noticed that it will be E-IDE... Lets wait and see what it will be like when it comes out

i've got the plextor 40ts too which is known as one of the best drives for ripping. when <only> looking at audio ripping quality/speed/features does anyone think the new cd-rom drive will perform better than good old plextor 40ts ?

In terms of accuracy, the PX40TSi is just an average drive (hit the market nearly 4 years ago) ... we will see the first review @ www.cdrinfo.com when it is finally released ...
