It works and looks great, very "linuxish" feeling in Win, but is it possible to use it only for the playlist? I prefer a non-transparent menu above (The thing with foobar2000, playlist... and so on in it).

I think with the windows SDK it's only possible to make entire windows transparent.

It's only possible to make an entire window translucent, or enable color key transparency. I have no idea if the effect can be applied to individual dialogs, and whether that would just make their parent window show through them or instead show the window underneath. I'll have to experiment later. (I have no idea how one would go about true alpha channel transparency across an entire window, or if that's even possible.)

No, no. Not global alpha transparency. I mean an alpha mask, total per-pixel alpha control.
