Since i`m encoding with mpc i always make a folder in the dir where the album is located with
mpc plugin, mpc batch encoder and a text file how to decode... etc. But i`m looking for something
more simple and found your frontend for mpc. Could you make a frontend only for decoding mpc files that:

- It has MuseDrop Interface
- It has build in Frank Klemm's decoder v0.98beta
- Default decode directory is the directory where the files are
located
- It has only 2 options, stay on top and set output directory

Basically, it would work like WavPackDrop does. Drop WAV files on it and it encodes them. Drop MPC files on it and it decodes them with the decoder of your choice. Both to the output directory of your choice or by default to the directory dropped from.

While you're at it, could you adjust MuseDrop to the latest encoder with the new commandline interface?

Great i need only to decode mpc files, this frontend will be for peple that want only to burn mpc files and not encode them and it`s important to be simple and no other files are needed only your frontend, sure you can make it that when droping wav files it will encode them it`s ok but there should be only --standard, --xtreme and --insane options and the encoder must be build in too.

Hmmm i don`t know the newest decoder from Frank doesn`t work on my temporary win-me system.

Try to download again. mppdec.exe dated 29-01 should work.

I was thinking short about the encode option and... no please make for me your frontend only for decoding, add the newest decoder and i will check if it`s working.

OK Rayan, I'm just a little confused. When you say "no other files" are you saying that you want the mpc decoder embedded into the frontend? (Which technically no longer makes it a frontend ) I can do that, and have it extract the decoder to a temp directory when it's executed, say c:windowstemp. I have a working prototype of that now. No encoding, no image options, only an Output Dirtectory and Stay On Top option. The only problem I see with doing that is this - you will be stuck with this version of the decoder after Frank comes out with a newer one. But it makes no difference to me. I aim to please! I'll do it however you want it done.

I am also incorporating a decode feature into the regular MuseDrop Frontend. As I indicated previously, it will encode WAV files dropped onto it and decode MPC files dropped onto it, by default into the source directory or into an optionally selected Output directory.

Yes i want that the decoder is embedded into the frontend that`s way i wanted v0.98 it can be also the stripped version 0.99a if it`s good and stable.

Big thnx for the musedecdrop layer3maniac, i wish only that the stay on top option is on by default, and there is a bug... if you have other directory then windows (like me) musedecdrop shows error "Cannot create file c:windowstempmppdec16.exe" i think musedecdrop should get info from registry what is the patch of windows, or make that the decoder is extracted to c:
