Does anyone here know of AlsaPlayer-Plugins for Musepack and AAC playback (+ support for MP4 file container)? I haven't been able to find information on this...

Personally, I've never heard of AlsaPlayer...
Why don't u use more popular players, like WinAmp 2.91,
or foobar2000? Foobar2000 has native support for
mpc amd aac/mp4 and there are plugins that will
make WinAmp play virtually anything.

Thank you for your suggestions but AlsaPlayer is a GNU/Linux audioplayer. Foobar2000 or Winamp won't work on this OS . There are plugins for MPC- and AAC-Support for XMMS but I'd like to try some alternatives. Maybe LAMIP will be ready some time soon (w00t).

Your better off just using xmms for now atleast until lamip development comes along a little further or foobar gets ported (someday). Xmms is buggy but its got plugins for everything youll need. You can make winamp and foobar run under wine too if you get desperate, ive successfully done so personally.

ha yes the mpc decoder... huhu out of my head... , sorry for lamip dev. some power problems with my pc

come on on irc (on night) to send me a mpc file for testing i could do this this week (as the weather is not really good)
if you send me the file. also for alsa output i'm waiting the next kernel to do a such output plugin (by the way the oss output plugin work correctly with alsa 0.9 as someone says me)
