Hi,

I'm quite new to mpc and have realised different recommendations for EAC settings. Some recommendations are:

"--xlevel --artist "%a" --title "%t" --album "%g" --year "%y" --track "%n" --genre "%m" %s"

and some

"--xlevel --ape2 --artist "%a" --title "%t" --album "%g" --year "%y" --track "%n" --genre "%m" %s %d"

All I want to know is wether I should use "--ape2" and/or "%d" or not ??

thx for any hint

APEv2 tag is default so no need for --ape2, %d is also useless because mppenc will write correctly named output without that. The reason these parameters should be left out from command line is length limit in EAC's parameter passing, though this may have been addressed in 0.95 pre-betas.
